Kyūsha (旧車) /kjuːʃə/: A Japanese word meaning “Old Car”. The first syllable is pronounced like “Q” or “cue” and the second syllable is pronounced as it looks as “sha” with a soft “uh” sound at the end.

02 Do you do events other than shows and cruises?

Due to the unique nature of our cars we are frequently invited to parades, charity events, festivals, community shows, and more. The unique nature of the vehicles brings in a crowd and generates great opportunities for organizations.

03 Can I hire Pittsburgh Kyūsha for an event?

Yes! We are available year-round for any events. If you’d like to discuss, feel free to contact us via the contact form or email. Please note: as we are a community of owners, we do not guarantee specific attendance numbers of vehicles especially in off-season events. If you would like to request specific makes/models please give sufficient notice so that we can do our best to accommodate.

04 Do I need to own a right-hand-drive car?

While we only focus on displaying RHD JDM vehicles at shows, we welcome anyone to the community who is as excited about them as we are. Anyone from future owners to curious enthusiasts are welcome.

07 Do you offer services for RHD owners?

One of the goals of Pittsburgh Kyūsha is to assist existing or future RHD owners. As a community of owners ourselves, we collect and share resources that remove some of the mystery and challenge when it comes to purchasing and maintaining a vehicle that was never sold in the US. We always do our best to help our members when it comes to sourcing parts and maintenance information.

08 Do you offer import services?

Unfortunately, we don’t currently offer direct import services. However, our members are always happy to help with information and we have a trusted list of importers and vendors that we can refer you to. We also provide information on trusted Import Brokers who can help guide you through the legal requirements for importing a vehicle.

09 Do you operate outside of Pittsburgh?

At present, we only operate in Pittsburgh and the surrounding Western PA area, but we are always looking to grow. If you’d like to start up your own regional Kyūsha group we’d be happy to help.
